TREK5 - INFO This printout predates TREK7 Vax Fortran code slightly TREK5 as I've come to call this is written in VAX (VMS) BASIC, probably around VMS v2.0 (guess) sometime from 1978-1982, probably during the earlier part of this period. NOTE: ALL timelines in around these dates are a total *MESS* filled with contradictions and impossibilities Be that as it may, I'm presenting these to the best of my ability. VAX (VMS) BASIC is a *very* odd sort of basic, and not likely portable to ANY other Basic. I don't know if it's possible to get this running on any modern system outside SIMH (Vax/VMS Simulator) but enjoy it! I have tried getting this to work with SIMH with openvms 7.3 and the latest Vax Basic - it does NOT work! I also tried getting this to work using VICE c64 emulator and created a d64 disk image for this purpose - it does NOT work! So I am totally stumped as to which Basic this was for, certainly not that M$ Visual Basic crapola, but still... baffled... BTW there is no copyright notice or any history of authorship for this one, so I'm making this FULLY OPEN SOURCE - I guess closest would be BSD license, Do whatever you want with it! No holds barred! Have Fun!
